Lusine Yeghiazaryan from Yerevan was supported by the Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant and visited İstanbul to represent the European Youth Parliament – Armenia during the 9th Istanbul Youth Forum.

“International Istanbul Youth Forum was a great opportunity! Firstly, it was a chance to discuss important political issues with students from all over Europe, share opinions, ideas and perspectives. Secondly, it was amazing to be in such a diverse environment and make new friends. Communicating with young, motivated, enthusiastic people, learning about their cultures and teaching about Armenian culture was really exciting! It was also very interesting to meet Armenians living in Turkey and discover many similarities between two cultures.”

“I would like to thank the Hrant Dink Foundation for this wonderful initiative and its staff for cooperative, well-organized work and support!”

We need to be more tolerant to our cultures – Lusine Yeghiazaryan
